Join us for a special event planned especially for kids age 17 and younger. Each athlete will swim, bike, and run specified distances based on their age group while wearing a chip on their ankle to track their time throughout the course of the event. Awards will be presented to the first, second, and third place male and female finishers in each category. All participants receive a finisher medal.

The Youth Triathlon will be a chip-timed event. Participants will wear a chip on their ankle that will track their time throughout the course of the event. Scooters and Coast Guard-approved life jackets, including puddle jumpers, are permitted.
Youth Triathlon Clinic
Learn swimming techniques, endurance building drills, transition area tips, race day prep, biking and running pointers, how to set up an efficient transition area, what to pack for race day, and other tips for participating in a triathlon. Participants should be comfortable in the water and able to swim one length of the pool. Participants must bring their bicycle, bicycle helmet, socks, swimsuit, goggles, swim cap, two towels, tennis shoes, and a water bottle.
